Kronprincessin Viktoria

Kronprincessin Viktoria Von Preussen This beautiful rose originated in Germany in 1887 and was introduced into commerce in 1888. It is the white sport of Souvenir de la Malmaison. If produces the same large blossoms as its 'mother' and has the same fragrance. The flowers are milk white with yellow tinted centers. "The flowers have the precious advantage of staying open a long time and take on the appearance of a pretty Camellia". (a quote from The Old Rose Advisor by Brent C. Dickerson) It is also a compact bush, probably even more so than Souvenir de la Malmaison, growing almost 3 feet tall and almost as wide. It's a great candidate for small gardens or patio containers. Hardy in zones 6 - 9.
